Financial Analyst

** This is an onsite position, 5 days week, at the facility in Thornton, CO**** Visa sponsorship, nor continuation of current Visa is available at this time **Preparation of reports and analysis in support of leadership team and company goals. The Analyst will help with running the Financial reports, reviews, and analysis as well as assist with the budgeting and forecasting duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate & timely sales reporting is communicated on a daily, weekly and periodic basis.
• Prepare sales forecast.
• Prepare product promotional forecasts.
• Assist with product pricing.
• Prepare product line sales trend analysis.
• Prepare detail budgets for sales & margin.
• Prepare analysis as needed to assist in analyzing business.
• Assist in General Ledger close.
• Manage Inventory reporting, including Fixed Asset management.
• Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 review requirements.
• Assist in preparation of EVA analyses for new stores & remodel investments.
• Perform financial performance reports for sales as needed.

• Advanced Excel skills required
• Thorough understanding of Balance Sheets & Income Statements
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Well organized, able to prioritize, multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Ability to evaluate and communicate financial results
• Must be a team player
• Ability to have fun while working hard
• Working knowledge of MAS 200 a plus
• CPA, CPF, CMA or similar certification a plus

Desired Work Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Manufacturing/retail (2-4 years)

The wage range for this position is $66,950.00-$117,000.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
