Whole Foods Market is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems & Reporting Team!In this strategic role, you'll act as the bridge between financial operations and technical systems—driving adoption, support, and continuous improvement of our financial planning and reporting platforms. As an embedded partner within finance, you'll combine your technical expertise and financial acumen to deliver system solutions, enhance reporting capabilities, and influence the future of financial operations at Whole Foods Market.This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week.

What You’ll Do:

Product Management:

  • Lead the development and documentation of business requirements for financial systems and processes
  • Design solution blueprints aligned with business requirements
  • Manage implementation, hypercare periods, and user adoption initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain system documentation
  • Oversee release management and training programs

Technical Systems Support:

  • Provide incident response and resolution for system outages, bugs, and errors
  • Maintain base-level knowledge across all finance systems while developing deep expertise in assigned platforms
  • Partner with technical teams on integration support and systems maintenance

Strategic Partnership:

  • Serve as an embedded partner with specific finance domains and their leadership
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in assigned financial domains
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvements and technical solutions
  • Create and maintain systems roadmaps in partnership with domain owners
  • Act as liaison between finance teams and technical support groups

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or related field, with 4–6 years of financial analyst experience (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting financial systems and processes
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, planning, and reporting frameworks
  • Experience with Enterprise Performance Management tools such as SAP BPC, Workday Adaptive Planning, Tableau, or similar platforms (Workday Adaptive Planning experience is a plus)
  • Proven project management skills with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, charting, and nested formulas) and the Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI experience a plus
  • Superb knowledge of financial systems, FP&A, and accounting principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professionalism, discretion, and a customer-focused mindset
  • Familiarity with Whole Foods Market principles and core values is a plus
The wage range for this position is $89,407.00-$151,992.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
